Sad News...

Aikido Master Koichi Tohei Dies at Age 91.

Tohei Sensei, Founder of Ki-Aikido

The Aikido Journal Online and the Official Ki Society Headquarters are reporting that the founder of Ki-Aikido (Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido), Sensei Koichi Tohei, has passed away.

Tohei's teachings were influential to many, including myself (even though I'm not an Aikido guy). His philosophy towards Ki, mind-body connection, and martial arts in general were both profound and practical.

Please keep your thoughts and prayers with is family and students.

He will be missed.
